FAQ

What does the complete internal medicine check-up include? Our comprehensive health check, which we recommend to patients aged 40 and over every two years and to patients aged 50 and over every year, is a central element of our medical care. The check-up is divided into two appointments: 1st appointment (duration: approx. 45 minutes): In the initial consultation, we will take a detailed medical history and take a blood sample to arrange the necessary laboratory analyses. 2nd appointment (duration: approx. 90 minutes): In this appointment, we will discuss your laboratory results in detail. Based on this, we create an individual medication and nutritional plan, provide you with the necessary prescriptions and carry out a comprehensive diagnosis, which includes the following examinations: - Recording of vital parameters - Physical examination - 12-lead resting ECG - Ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, arteries, thyroid and heart - Pulmonary function test - Stress ergometry This check-up enables an in-depth assessment of your health and is aimed at recommending preventive measures and identifying risks at an early stage.

What interesting additional services do we offer? In addition to our standard treatments, we also offer specialized additional services to meet your individual health needs: - Basic skin check: A detailed examination of your skin to detect skin changes or diseases at an early stage. - Dermatological consultation: Benefit from our cooperation, which brings dermatological expertise directly to our practice, from convenient telemedical consultations, and enables flexible and comprehensive care. These additional services are designed to promote preventive measures and comprehensively address specific health issues.

Which health insurance companies do we bill? We only offer the self-payer principle. This means that patients first pay their treatment costs themselves and then submit the invoice to their health insurance company for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee that the health insurance company will cover the costs. However, if required, we will be happy to support you with a detailed medical report for a small additional charge in order to strengthen your claims for reimbursement.

How can I pay my bill? Please pay your bill at our reception immediately after your treatment. We accept cash, card payment, direct bank transfer, PayPal and Bizum.

How does billing for laboratory analyses work? In our practice, we offer point-of-care diagnostics, whereby the most important laboratory values are determined immediately for acute issues and billed directly after treatment. For more comprehensive laboratory analyses, we work with an external German laboratory. Billing for these services only takes place after receipt of the analysis results. Please note that the processing time for the final results may vary depending on the complexity of the request.

I don't have private insurance. Can I still visit your practice? Of course, people who don't have private insurance are also welcome. We offer flexible payment plans and the option of paying in installments to make the treatment costs accessible to all patients.
